Kathleen KaufmanMA-ATR has worked in the Art Therapy and Education field as a therapist, teacher, administrator, education consultant and workshop presenter for over 17 years.

Her work has focused on the Visual Arts and helping individuals with mental and physical disabilities.. Utilizing art media as a tool to help individuals achieve personal awareness along with exploring new opportunities that can open doors to success, the art process and inner exploration can enrich the lives of many people.

Mrs. Kaufman is a member of the American Art Therapy Association as a registered art therapist. She holds a bachelor degree in art education / special education, specializing in adaptive art and assistive technology. Mrs. Kaufman holds a Master Degree in administration / Education along with her Principal License.

She currently teaches Art Therapy and Art Education at Alverno College in Milwaukee. In addition she has joined Avolen Wellness Center, Oconomowoc as an Art Therapist.

Avolen offers: Art Therapy Sessions and Art Exploration Classes

Sessions are available for Individuals with mental health issues, physical disabilities, seniors, and those interested in Art Exploration classes.
