While working as massage therapist and studying massage therapy techniques, along with treating her own health problems, Deb became aware of a need for a service that would treat the whole body along with the mind. While most day spas concentrate on various types of beauty or massage treatments, clients often needed more. Deb founded Avolen Wellness Center to provide clients with the knowledge, treatments and products that will restore and maintain appropriate balance between mind, body and spirit.

Deb holds a cosmetology manager license with the State of Wisconsin. She does facials, body treatments, ear candling and waxing.

Deb holds a National Certification in Massage Therapy (#407458-00). Her advanced training is with the Upledger Institute (include link http://www.upledger.com/home.htm) and includes Levels I, II, & III in CranioSacral and Level I, II, and III in Lymphatic Drainage, and Somato Emotional Release. Other advanced courses include Levels I and II in Reiki and Hot Stone therapy for both body and facials.

She has a certificate in Myofascial Release.
